Hello and welcome to day 24 of this 31 day challenge!
Today, let’s take a good look at our furniture. What do you need? Does this piece of furniture have a purpose/ is it useful? Is it broken? Would you buy this item if you saw it in a store today?
I want you to go room to room and ask yourself these questions about each piece of furniture you own. If you do not need it, if it’s useless or broken, if you wouldn’t buy it today, it may be time to let that item go.
In our purge of furniture we got rid of 2 couches, 4 end tables/nightstands, our kitchen table, and more. In our bedroom we rearranged, so we could use our fireplace as a nightstand that we could use instead of us needing 2 nightstands (tbh rearranging always brings me comfort when I’m stress, so it was a double win). We still have so much that we are going to get rid of once we do finally sell our home, but this has already made a huge impact on our space.
For the challenge: What are you letting go of that you JUST realized you don’t really need?
